MORE SAD NEWS: BARBARA PARKER, author of many books and most recently THE DARK OF DAY, died this month at the age of 62. LIAM, my seven-year-old grandson, is becoming a star writer and showing everyone that you're never too young—or too old—to establish a writing career. Liam reviews comics on his growing-in-popularity blog, The Kid's Comic Book Reviews. He attended The New York Comic Con this month and sat at the Del Rey booth where he did some sketches and also interviewed Don Slott, one of the main writers for The Amazing Spider Man. (You can read the interview on his site.) This week Comic Book Fanatic named his site Blog of the Week! Did I mention that he sold his sketches for $3 each? So he's actually making money, too!
